Learn about basic kitchen concepts with sanitation, knife skills and nutrition. By making a bread,Library: Beatties Ford Road Regional
biscuits and cakes students will find out based on available ingredients how to make a proper nutritional meal based on
the ‘my plate’ standards. With the help of the instructor, they will be able to understand the difference in measuring cups
and measuring spoons and how to identify what measurement the recipe calls for. Students will get help with the basic
concepts of baking in this lesson and understand when and how to maintain proper hygiene in the kitchen and how to
keep a sanitized station avoiding any cross contamination.In collaboration with Unity Fellowship Church Charlotte.
